Description
Union County Orthopaedic Group, a well-established, physician-owned orthopedic
multi-specialty practice in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Orthopedic
Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established hand practice with a
significant existing patient population and build upon a referral base developed over
more than 50 years in the community.

Established hand & upper-extremity referral base

On-site X-ray and DME

Integrated physical therapy clinics in Union (2023) and Clark (2025)

Two supportive local hospitals and physician-partner-owned ASC

Founding division of OrthoNJ, with 100+ musculoskeletal providers
Multidisciplinary team of 7 orthopedic surgeons, 2 PM&R physicians, 1 podiatrist,
5 PAs, and 1 NP
Role Includes
- Comprehensive hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity care
- Surgical and non-operative management of upper-extremity conditions
- Opportunity to grow an established hand surgery practice
- Collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, PM&R physicians, and physical
therapists
- Participation in local orthopedic ER call, currently approximately 1:6
- Opportunity for community and physician outreach with practice support
Requirements
Qualifications: Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
and completion of an Orthopaedic Hand Surgery Fellowship. Candidates should be
comfortable managing general orthopedic injuries encountered through ER call.
